Literal translation of the Latin: Come, Holy Spirit, and destroy the desire of ourselves.
On a theological level, note how different these prayers are. In the English we ask God for help as we work to better ourselves. In the Latin, we ask God to be the primary agent and destroy our vice.
Here's
how the Latin works.
